MEICA Commissioning Engineer – Water Industry
Location: Hampshire/Surrey Area

About the Role
We're on the lookout for an experienced and driven MEICA Commissioning Engineer to join a leading contractor in the UK water industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of water and wastewater projects, with most of the work centred around the Aldershot area.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support commissioning activities across clean and wastewater sites
* Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the client to ensure timely and effective delivery
* Troubleshoot MEICA systems, validate installation, and support FAT/SAT processes
* Produce detailed commissioning plans, reports, and documentation
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, H&S procedures, and environmental guidelines
* Attend progress meetings and liaise with design and delivery teams
* Support handover and training for operational staff
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a MEICA commissioning role (water industry experience ideal)
* Strong technical background in one or more of the following: mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control systems, automation
* Familiarity with water treatment processes and assets (pumps, MCCs, telemetry, PLCs, etc.)
* Ability to read technical drawings and interpret commissioning documentation
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* CSCS/ECS card, and ideally EUSR or similar water industry tickets
* Full UK driving licence
