Drive and be accountable for operational excellence of assigned products/commodities. Provide coordination and leadership in procurement activities for assigned commodities engaging the business leadership team to develop sourcing programs / processes and deliver enhanced productivity. Responsible for all aspects related to vendors’ management and execution, from Supplier onboarding and update, Terms negotiations, scope of work transaction accuracy along with the PO-to-receipt-invoice cycle. Drive proactive involvement in all functional activities related to sourcing to ensure that sourcing has upfront involvement in all new inquires and delivers solutions related to the assigned products. Driving key sourcing initiatives through continuous improvement projects. Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements. Own relevant KPIs with special focus on Achieve lowest possible cost at PO placement and Cash control Quarterly Saving plan Terms negotiations including payment terms and rebates As an Intern, you will be responsible for: Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders Collaborating in the evaluation and assessment of potential suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Supporting the management of relationships with existing suppliers, including communication, performance evaluations, and issue resolution. Assisting in managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of critical materials while minimizing excess inventory costs. Supporting in the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders for materials and services. Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Business/Finance or Law-related program.
