The role
As a History Teacher, you will:
7. Teach History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)
8. Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that develop historical knowledge, analysis, and evaluation skills
9. Differentiate effectively to support pupils of mixed abilities, including those with SEND
10. Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
11. Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
12. Work collaboratively within the Humanities department and wider staff team
This role is suitable for ECTs, experienced teachers, and those returning to the profession.
We’re looking for someone who:
13. Holds QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
14. Has experience teaching History in UK secondary schools
15. Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
16. Is committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding
17. Is reliable, adaptable, and professional
18. Is happy to work PAYE, with clear and transparent pay

19. £163–£ per day, depending on experience
