Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Anglian Water in Lincoln. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage the commercial delivery of our contracts, collaborating closely with our operations team to ensure project success. You’ll be supported by a Senior Quantity Surveyor in an environment that values your expertise and creativity.
Your Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our commercial team, driving profitability and cash collection. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Collaborating with the operations team to produce accurate cost value reconciliations and financial forecasts.
* Managing cash flow forecasts and ensuring optimal cash collection throughout the contract lifecycle.
* Overseeing subcontract procurement and assessment, ensuring best value and minimal risk.
* Preparing and submitting monthly applications and final accounts.
* Working closely with operations teams to ensure accurate information is obtained.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you possess:
* Experience in a similar commercial role within the construction or related industries.
* An appropriate Quantity Surveying qualification and strong commercial & business knowledge.
* Experience with NEC suite of contracts or similar.
* The ability to understand and respond to contract issues effectively.
* Excellent communication, report writing, and IT skills.
