Staff Nurse - Bevan Ward

Ensure high standards of nursing care within the ward, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Maintain and evaluate individual patient care systems to meet physical, social, and psychological needs.
Assist with the introduction of new nursing care methods, including research initiatives.
Communicate effectively with relatives and uphold a positive public image.
Manage drug ordering, storage, administration, and documentation per Trust policy.
Monitor and supervise research-based nursing care, ensuring high standards and compliance.
Maintain and update patient care plans to meet all needs.
Ensure nutritional and personal hygiene needs of patients are met.
Possess knowledge of endocrine and haematology, and initiate basic life support if necessary. Escalate concerns to senior staff or medical personnel if patient conditions worsen.

Person Specification
* Registered Nurse
* Flexibility and reliability
* Experience in Endocrine and Haematology
* Competent in basic wound management
* Aware of the National 6Cs campaign
* Understanding that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility
* Ability to work effectively in a team
