Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding on injection moulding machinery and associated equipment.
Perform planned, reactive, and predictive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise performance.
Diagnose electrical faults systematically and implement effective solutions, reporting via a CMMS system.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure all equipment is handed back in a safe condition.
Train operators on equipment setup and changeovers, maintaining accurate training records.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Profile
The Successful Candidate
Apprentice-trained with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering (HNC/HND desirable).
Strong ability to read electrical drawings and logically fault-find.
Proven experience conducting electrical maintenance on injection moulding machinery and other automated systems.
Skilled in working with inverters, servo/DC drives, control panels, and circuits from 415V to 24VDC.
Understanding of pneumatics and mechanical systems is advantageous.
A proactive team player with excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
