The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused National Account Manager to join our Worcester HQ team. This role will be responsible for managing and developing our existing key accounts, while also identifying and winning new potential key accounts to support the company’s ambitious growth plans.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced account manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening our relationships with high-value customers, increasing account penetration, and expanding our portfolio of strategic partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow revenue across a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and profitability.
* Build strong multi-level relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to expand product ranges, introduce exclusive solutions, and increase share of wallet within accounts.
* Proactively seek and develop new potential key accounts, converting prospects into long-term partners.
* Work closely with internal departments (Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Finance) to deliver exceptional service levels and tailored solutions.
* Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service-level agreements with key customers.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and account plans to the Managing Director and SLT.
* Monitor competitor activity within accounts and develop strategies to protect and grow Springpack’s position.
* Ensure all customer activity is captured in CRM and that account plans are regularly reviewed and updated.
* Act as the voice of the customer internally, feeding back market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Revenue and margin growth across key accounts.
* Retention and renewal rates of key accounts.
* New key accounts acquired and onboarded.
* Increased product penetration (range and volume growth per account).
* Customer satisfaction and NPS scores.
* Accurate and timely forecasting and reporting.
What We\'re Looking For
* Proven success in managing and growing key accounts, ideally within B2B distribution, packaging, or FMCG sectors.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align solutions to customer needs.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities.
* Highly organised, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and driven by achieving results.
* Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing sales team.
