An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our Aseptic Pharmacy Team. We provide high quality prepared chemotherapy products to our patients and are looking for a motivated, flexible and forward thinking Senior Pharmacy Assistant.
We do encourage flexible working so would accept applicants that can work a minimum of 22 hrs.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will join our friendly team of assistants, technicians and pharmacists.
The post holder will work flexibly to deliver a Pharmacy Service in the Aseptic unit.
Aseptic services
Working in our newly refurbished aseptic suite at the Beacon Production Unit, this is a Pharmacy run production unit with specialist equipment to help prepare individual patient treatments.

Qualifications
Essential:
* Good general education to include Science, Maths and English at grades A* to C
* Must be able to communicate in English Language, both written and verbally appropriate to the post.
Desirable:
* Experience in working in Aseptic production.
* Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Support staff- BTEC Level 2: Unit 7- Principles of Safe Preparation and Manufacturing of Medicines and Medicinal Products
Experience
Essential:
* Demonstrated experience of working as part of a busy team.
Desirable:
* Any knowledge/ experience in aseptic production or working in clean rooms.
