Alongside the fun, our food & beverage operation is a vital part of the guest experience – from cafés and kiosks to seasonal pop-ups and catering for special events. We're now looking for an experienced, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager who can also take a leading role as one of our Duty Managers across the wider site.
The Role
This is a varied and dynamic position that combines leading our food & beverage operation with playing a key part in the day-to-day running of the farm as a Duty Manager.
You'll be responsible for ensuring our catering outlets deliver great food and service, but equally, you'll be a visible leader across the whole attraction. That means supporting other departments, being on hand to assist our visitors, making confident operational decisions, and ensuring our guests have the best possible day out.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment -someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, leading from the front, and setting the standard for the rest of the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Take an active role as a Duty Manager, leading the site on a rota basis. This includes opening and closing the attraction, overseeing daily operations, managing health & safety, responding to incidents, being the point of contact for staff and visitors, and making confident decisions under pressure.
* Be highly visible across site - approachable to visitors, supportive to staff, and ready to step in wherever needed.
* Lead from the front, setting high standards of customer service and operational delivery across all departments.
* Oversee the day-to-day operation of all food & beverage outlets across the farm park.
* Lead, train, and motivate a seasonal team to deliver excellent service and uphold food safety standards.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, HACCP, and all food hygiene regulations.
* Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
* Drive efficiency, minimising waste and maximising profitability.
* Support the planning and delivery of food & beverage provision for our major events (e.g. Pumpkin Festival, Santa's Sleigh Ride) while also assisting other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
* Be adaptable – in a small team, everyone gets stuck in
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in food & beverage management, ideally in leisure, visitor attractions, or high-volume catering.
* Confident with all aspects of F&B operations, from compliance to customer service.
* A strong leader with proven Duty Manager or site management experience.
* Hands-on, approachable, and able to work under pressure in a busy, family-focused environment.
* Organised, adaptable, and ready to turn their hand to whatever the day brings.
* Flexible with availability – weekends, bank holidays, and peak seasonal periods are when we're at our busiest.
