Our setting:
Meath Green is a three-form entry Junior School with our school values at its core. We provide a nurturing, supportive and inclusive environment, where learners feel a real sense of belonging and strive to be the best they can be. We equip them with the tools to build resilience and independence to become life-long learners and to overcome challenges with confidence.
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated full-time learning support assistant in Year 5, who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and supporting learners to overcome barriers. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with children, although this does not have to have been in a school setting.
Key roles/responsibilities include:
-Working under the direction of the class teacher to support pupils’ learning in line with the National Curriculum.
-Delivering targeted interventions (1:1 and small group) to support progress in literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum areas.
-Adapting tasks and resources to meet individual needs, including pupils with SEND.
-Promote independence and resilience, encouraging pupils to take ownership of their learning.
Interviews will be held on: Tuesday 23rd June 2026
