Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team working within a highly regulated environment. This role will focus on the design, development, testing, and documentation of power systems and analogue electronics, while also playing a key role in mentoring and supporting junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of analogue and power electronic systems
* Take ownership of engineering activities across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to validation
* Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation in line with regulatory and compliance standards
* Conduct and support hands-on lab testing, validation, and verification
* Ensure designs meet strict regulatory, safety, and quality requirements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers
* Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers
* Support design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience as an Electronics Design Engineer within a highly regulated industry (Defence, Aerospace, Space, Nuclear, or Automotive)
* Background in analogue electronics and power systems design desirable
* Experience with lab-based testing, validation, and debugging
* Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical documentation to regulatory standards
* Solid understanding of compliance, safety, and quality frameworks
* Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
