37.5 hours per week - with some flexibility available to suit your needs! Your Responsibilities
As an Assistant Engineer, you will play a vital role in our
Civil Engineering team
. Your contributions will help shape highways designs, drawings, reports, and supporting documentation, all while adhering to project briefs, timelines, and budgets. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Producing and checking coordinated drawings, design models, schedules, and specifications within a quality assurance environment. Preparing preliminary and detailed designs for local and national authorities, supporting senior engineers with various design duties. Assisting in technical and feasibility studies, ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations. Delivering technical files and documentation, conducting site investigations, and analyzing data. Contributing to technical excellence and innovation, providing creative solutions to engineering challenges. What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if: You hold relevant professional qualifications. You have a strong working knowledge of civil engineering design software, such as
AutoCAD
