SEN Teaching Assistant Chichester £445 - £500 per week (Salary is dependant on experience and/or qualifications, this will be discussed at registration) ASAP - Ongoing Refer a friend scheme - £125 for both of you! The Role Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives? As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and other additional learning requirements. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll help create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every child can thrive. You’ll have the opportunity to work 1:1 with pupils, as well as support small group learning, helping children build confidence, resilience, and a love of learning. This is a long-term position, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year - an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact and grow within a supportive team. Requirements To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will have: Friendly and nurturing qualities A caring, patient nature Well organised and flexible Strong behaviour management skills A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Experience working with children, either in or out of an education setting.
