Title: Group Leader - Electrical, Control and Simulation Group Location: Glasgow Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 Comprehensive Benefits Working Pattern: Full time (37.5 hrs per week) – Hybrid Working Closing Date is 7 th November 2025 however we encourage early applications Electrical, Control and Simulation Group We are seeking to appoint a Group Leader into post for the Glasgow based Electrical, Control and Simulation Group. As a Group Leader you will oversee a team providing electrical, mechanical and control system modelling and simulation across a wide range of engineering domains utilising toolsets including MATLAB, Simulink and Python. In addition to simulation the team provide a wide variety of EC&I services as part of the wider EE&I discipline. The candidate should have a strong technical project delivery background; with experience which should include several of the following: A strong electrical or control and instrumentation background. Modelling and simulation with toolsets including MATLAB, Simulink and Python. Managing the production, verification and approval of; reports and software deliverables. Managing a project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within budget. Client facing to develop requirements and negotiating contracts / agreements, and progress reporting and risk management.
