Fundraising and Engagement Officer - Tayside

Full Time and Permanent (34.5 hours per week)
Responsibilities
* Deliver community fundraising initiatives, events, and campaigns, ensuring targets are met and donors, volunteers, schools, and community groups receive an excellent experience.
* Develop and maintain relationships with supporters, respond to enquiries, and provide guidance and resources to help individuals and groups maximise their fundraising efforts.
* Work with schools through programmes such as the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI), supporting pupils and teachers throughout their fundraising and learning journey, and building long‑term relationships with educational partners across the region.
* Accurately process, record, and reconcile donations, ensuring all supporters receive timely and meaningful acknowledgement of their contributions.
* Maintain high‑quality data in the CRM system (Raiser’s Edge) and contribute to effective stewardship and reporting.
* Create engaging content for social media and digital platforms, share impact stories, and represent the charity at community events, schools, networking groups, and public speaking opportunities.
* Capture and share meaningful stories that demonstrate the difference Archie makes every day, working with families, NHS staff, and colleagues.
Qualifications
* Energetic, highly organised, and personable individual with experience or an interest in fundraising.
* Strong community engagement skills or a background in a customer‑facing role.
* Confidence building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and working independently as well as in a team.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
* Requires a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme check.
