Smyth & Co. has been entrusted with a discreet and prestigious search on behalf of an ultra-high-net-worth Arabian client seeking an exceptionally experienced and impeccably trained Head Butler or House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a formal private residence.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the region’s most refined private households, requiring an individual of the highest professional calibre, discretion, and cultural sensitivity.

Key Requirements:

* Minimum 5–10 years' proven experience as a Butler, Head Butler, or House Manager within formal private households or internationally recognised 5-star+ luxury hotels.
* Formal Butler training and certification from a distinguished academy such as: The British Butler Institute or The International Butler Academy
* Proven leadership in managing and mentoring household staff.
* Extensive experience in formal dining service and protocol for high-level entertaining.
* Successful track record in planning and executing private events and high-profile gatherings.
* Previous experience working in a multi-cultural household, with an understanding of Saudi traditions, customs, and religious practices.

Core Competencies:

* Utmost discretion, loyalty, and professionalism—able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
* Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written); Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
* Highly anticipatory and service-oriented, with a natural ability to pre-empt needs without instruction.
* Impeccable attention to detail across all areas of presentation, service, and household coordination.
* Exceptional time management, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules and operations seamlessly.
* A proven ability to inspire, lead, and retain a high-functioning team.
* Composed, resourceful, and solution-focused in high-pressure or last-minute scenarios.
* Flexibility to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to the principal's schedule.
