Job Summary
The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a highly motivated and technically competent 2nd Line IT Engineer to effectively assist in supporting staff and students as part of an established centralised network across the Trust. This position is based at Priory Community School – An Academy and the successful candidate must be able to travel between Trust sites. This post commences ASAP once the right candidate has been found.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the smooth running of Microsoft, Apple and Google devices.
* Assist with network infrastructure (improvements and change control).
* Resolve technical issues for students and staff.
Qualifications
* Be an excellent team player.
* Have a passion for IT and customer service.
* Have an excellent understanding of modern Operating Systems, Software and Hardware.
* Be able to deal with repairs and warranties.
* Have a valid driver’s licence and a car.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a busy, customer focused IT environment.
* BTEC National Diploma (Level 3) in an IT related subject and / or Microsoft Certifications, CompTIA certifications.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills which include GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, IT or equivalent.
