Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate should have experience of handling a full caseload of residential conveyancing, have the ability to handle pressure and work to tight deadlines. They will be committed to providing excellent client care and satisfaction.
Duties
* Picking up and developing a full caseload of Residential Conveyancing;
* Proven ability to generate work and convert quotations;
* Preparing and undertaking necessary searches;
* Client liaison;
* Ensuring that Estate Agents are regularly updated and work to build good relations with local agents;
* Production of standard contract documentation;
* Seek opportunities to cross refer clients to other departments;
* Dealing with all enquiries;
* Dealing with exchange, completion and post completion related correspondence and formalities (this will include Stamp Duty Land Tax, Companies House and ensuring that all balances are clear before the file is closed.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer or Legal Executive within property law.
* Good understanding of the conveyancing process.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly to clients and colleagues.
* Proficiency in IT systems relevant to conveyancing work, including case management software.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
* Outstanding time management skills to meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
* Demonstrable organisational skills that support efficient workflow and attention to detail.
* A recognised legal qualification in law or conveyancing (e.g., CILEX qualification or equivalent). This position is paid and offers an engaging environment for a dedicated professional eager to develop their career within residential conveyancing.

Hours of Work: 09.00 – 17.15 hrs Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week)
