Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Director to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing transformational, complex deals in the Financial Services and Insurance industry vertical. This role requires a dynamic seller with excellent relationship-building and consultative selling skills, and a deep understanding of the industry. The focus will be on rapid business expansion, profitable revenue growth, and customer satisfaction within the UK&I Financial Services and Insurance markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales and account plans to meet revenue targets.
* Build and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
* Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.
* Collaborate with internal teams for solutioning, pursuit, and delivery.
* Stay informed on industry trends to identify new opportunities.
* Manage sales processes, forecasts, and pipelines.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams on contracts, proposals, and client management.
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in leading large business deals, especially in product engineering, operations, quality, and data engineering sectors.
* Proven success in exceeding sales targets and growing profitable businesses.
* Strong negotiation, closing, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Deep domain knowledge of the UK&I Financial Services and Insurance markets.
* Experience with digital and data engineering deals, including partnerships with AWS, Google, Microsoft, and ISVs.
