KS1 Teaching Assistant – Blackpool
Temporary to Permanent | ASAP Start
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Blackpool who are seeking a General KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This role will initially be temporary, with a strong view to becoming permanent for the right candidate. The successful Teaching Assistant will be required ASAP, working for the remainder of this academic year and continuing into September 2026.
About the Role:
* Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 in the classroom
* Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
* Providing general classroom support, including small group and 1:1 work where required
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
* Supporting pupils’ academic progress and social development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working within KS1 (school-based experience preferred)
* Be patient, caring and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
* Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Be reliable, proactive and flexible in their approach
* Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
