Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Pilates techniques and principles, along with the ability to inspire and motivate clients of all fitness levels. As a Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and leading engaging classes that promote physical fitness, flexibility, and overall well-being. Our new Pilates studio in Preston is built around a commitment to health, wellbeing, and community.
Duties
* Conduct group and individual Reformer Pilates sessions tailored to the needs of the clients and concepts
* Demonstrate proper techniques and movements, ensuring safety and effectiveness
* Provide modifications for various skill levels and physical limitations
* Create a welcoming, warm and supportive environment for all clients
* Monitor client progress and provide feedback to enhance their experience
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the studio equipment and space
* Stay updated on the latest trends in Pilates and fitness to continually improve class offerings ·
* Contribute to the welcoming, professional, and supportive culture of the studio.
* Work collaboratively with the studio team to ensure smooth class scheduling and client satisfaction.
Experience
* Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of anatomy to ensure safe practice during sessions
* Certification in Reformer Pilates instruction from a recognised institution is preferred
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively
* Passionate about promoting health, movement, and wellbeing
* First Aid Certification
* Public Liability Insurance
