Are you currently studying for an MPharm degree at a UK university?

Would you like to develop your hospital pharmacy knowledge by working with the Dispensary Team during the university holidays?

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Support Workers to join our Dispensary Team on a bank basis during busy holiday periods.

This post is a valuable opportunity to gain hospital pharmacy experience through working in our lively Pharmacy Department at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

You will work alongside experienced pharmacy staff, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of medicines to our patients while gaining insight into hospital pharmacy operations.

Candidates must have SQA National 4 qualifications or equivalent in English, Maths and Science subjects as a minimum. The successful candidate will be IT literate and have the ability to work accurately.

Pharmacy experience is desirable but this is not essential as full training would be given.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support workers in Scotland and to comply with the code of conduct throughout your employment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES

1. Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
