Technical Maintenance Senior Co-Ordinator - Permanent – Scotland - £Excellent package
One of Scotland’s ship owners is recruiting for a Technical Maintenance Senior Co-Ordinator. Reporting to the Technical Maintenance Manager, this role will provide scheduling support across the fleet overhaul programme, manage the Asset Management System (AMS), and support projects as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manage and update the Asset Management System (AMS), including fleet management, user permissions, and technical records.
* Implement maintenance changes due to OEM, vessel incidents, or other reasons.
* Manage asset changes, including equipment updates and maintenance jobs.
* Ensure maintenance consistency across the fleet.
* Audit maintenance completion and oversee overdue maintenance.
* Create and manage the annual overhaul schedule.
* Maintain certification of Life Saving Appliances (LSA) and related accounts.
* Respond to maintenance queries and analyze trends.
Stakeholder management responsibilities include:
* Liaising with Chief Engineers regarding maintenance changes.
* Supporting communication between the company, contractors, classification society, and flag state.
* Acting as the department's point of contact for maintenance matters.
* Participating in and chairing operational meetings.
* Collaborating with the Fleet Management Department to optimize maintenance regimes.
Requirements:
* Experience in project planning and maintenance coordination.
* Experience with Maintenance Management Systems for complex assets.
* Management experience or readiness to assume a management role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Skills in documentation, data, and process management.
* Ability to report effective management information.
* Experience in commercial ship operations and management.
* Knowledge of quality management systems, processes, and procedures.
* Experience with complex data management and data standards.
