Their impressive portfolio includes high-profile projects in the Defence sector, working with clients such as BAE Systems and the Ministry of Defence, as well as office fit-outs, refurbishments and education developments.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Project Manager to join their expanding team in Barrow. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on high-value defence projects, providing strategic direction and ensuring successful delivery from inception through to completion.
The Role
*
Manage multiple projects within the Defence sector, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and on budget
*
Act as the key client interface, building strong stakeholder relationships and providing expert project guidance
*
Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from feasibility and planning through to construction and handover
*
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors
*
Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with contractual and industry standards
*
Provide accurate and timely progress reports and updates to senior management and clients
About You
*
Proven experience in Project Management, ideally within the Defence or related sectors
*
Strong understanding of project lifecycles, procurement methods, and contract administration
*
Experience of NEC3 & NEC4 or JCT contracts
*
Confident in leading teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering successful project outcomes
*
Ideally chartered (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM) or working towards professional accreditation
