Associate) Director, Clinical Affairs – Infectious Diseases | Global IVD Focus
📍 Remote – UK or France | Permanent Position
A global diagnostics company is seeking an experienced Clinical Affairs leader to head their infectious disease clinical programme, supporting the development and global delivery of innovative diagnostic platforms.
This is a high-impact, strategic role offering the opportunity to lead a talented team of Clinical Study Leads and shape the clinical direction of new assay and platform development across international markets.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage global clinical studies in the infectious disease space (IVD) from planning to execution
* Line manage and develop a team of Clinical Study Leads, fostering excellence and growth
* Define clinical strategy and ensure alignment with scientific, regulatory, and business goals
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners
* Monitor and improve clinical processes, compliance, and study quality (ISO13485, IVDR, GCP)
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Clinical Affairs or Clinical Operations within IVD, Medical Devices, or Diagnostics
* Strong background in infectious disease clinical studies
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Sound understanding of ISO13485, CLSI guidelines, and global clinical trial regulations
* Comfortable working cross-functionally and driving global trial delivery
* Fluent in English; French is a plus
* Based in the UK or France, with willingness to travel internationally (~15–20%)
