6 Month FTC | £70-80K | Successful Investment Management Firm


We are partnering with a leading global active investment management firm, to appoint an interim Financial & Regulatory Reporting Accountant for a 6-month fixed-term contract. With a reputation for innovation and excellence, the firm is looking for a high-calibre finance professional to join their London-based team. Reporting to the Head of Financial and Regulatory Reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring robust prudential oversight and technical accounting precision during a period of high activity.


Key Responsibilities

* Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and review monthly regulatory capital and liquidity calculations, forecasts, and returns in accordance with MIFIDPRU requirements.
* Prudential Oversight: Track compliance with all prudential requirements and ensure all regulatory filing deadlines are met with absolute accuracy.
* Technical Accounting: Support technical assessments, specifically focusing on new lease arrangements and ensuring modifications are correctly implemented within Workday.
* Financial Control: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal reporting processes.
* Audit & Stakeholder Management: Liaise with statutory auditors to ensure timely delivery of information and collaborate across the wider Finance function to streamline data flow.
* Project Support: Provide ad-hoc support for Financial Control and Reporting initiatives as required.


Your Background

* Qualified Accountant: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong grasp of IFRS.
* Industry Experience: Proven experience within a financial accounting or prudential reporting team at a large corporate or investment manager.
* Regulatory Knowledge: A working knowledge of FCA MIFIDPRU (or equivalent rulebooks) is highly advantageous.
* Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with general ledger systems (e.g., Workday) is a plus.
* Core Strengths: A proactive team player with the ability to follow complex issues through to conclusion and a high degree of risk awareness.
