Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for multiple SEND schools across Sheffield and surrounding areas with long-term, full-time September vacancies.
The Role:
As a full-time teaching assistant, you will support SEND students to ensure they receive the best education and have equal opportunities outside the classroom. Initially, this is a temporary role with potential for a permanent contract.
Daily duties include supporting children during lessons, providing pastoral support, supervising off-site visits, supporting students at the school’s farm, and being an excellent role model.

Whether you have previous experience or are seeking a new challenge, this role could suit you. You should be outgoing, confident, and passionate about helping vulnerable young people succeed. You must be capable of managing challenging behaviour and de-escalating conflicts.
Applicants need appropriate qualifications and training. Please refer to the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for details.
All pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
