About the Role
As our Communications & PR Manager, you will set the strategic direction for all communication activity across the business. You’ll enhance our online presence, strengthen engagement with our community and staff, and ensure our brand values are consistently communicated across all channels.
We’re looking for someone who is solutions‑focused, proactive, and able to see the bigger picture, identifying opportunities, creating compelling content, and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy to support business growth.
Work with internal teams and external agencies to tell our story effectively across all platforms.
Support employee attraction, engagement, and retention through strong internal and external communications.
Manage brand consistency and creative content across all channels.
Oversee all social media accounts and website content to ensure cohesive messaging.
Line manages the Digital Marketing Coordinator, providing direction, support, and performance oversight.
Source and create engaging content to enhance employee engagement and brand awareness.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Coordinate press releases, award submissions, and marketing materials.
Monitor and evaluate communication activities to support continuous improvement.
Represent the organisation at networking events, conferences, and industry forums.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection and health and safety.
What we're looking for
A degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or a related field, or 5+ years’ relevant experience
Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and project‑management skills
Proficiency in social media management, digital content creation, and internal communication platforms
Creative problem‑solver with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work at pace
Confident working independently and collaboratively
Commitment to zero tolerance of abuse or discrimination
