An exciting opportunity has arisen at, a vibrant and popular pub with a 75-seat restaurant, to join their friendly and passionate kitchen team. Due to the departure of their current Sous Chef they are looking for a Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to their guests.
Sous Chef : You will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, maintaining high food standards, and leading a team during busy services.
Chef de Partie : Focus on preparing fresh, classic pub dishes and small plates in a small but efficient kitchen. You will take ownership of your section and ensure smooth kitchen operations during services.
Work in a team to prepare and serve fresh, classic pub food and small plates.
Help deliver up to 200 covers on Sundays, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
Assist in kitchen stock management and ordering.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service and high-quality dishes.
Sous Chef : Experienced in leading a kitchen team, with a strong understanding of kitchen management, quality control, and staff training.
Chef de Partie : A solid chef with experience in working in fast-paced kitchens, preferably in a pub or casual dining environment.
Enthusiastic and passionate about food, with a keen interest in delivering excellent customer experiences.
Ability to adapt in a small, busy kitchen and be flexible in responsibilities.
While we're a little off the beaten track, we do have a bus route nearby, so transport is accessible. You'll be working in a small, intimate kitchen that's always buzzing with energy.
