Role Overview
The Infrastructure Migration Project Manager is responsible for delivering infrastructure-focused projects within a financial services environment. The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
* Ensure delivery aligns with industry standards, governance, and compliance requirements.
* Coordinate technical teams to produce clear, practical designs and recovery documentation.
* Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide implementation guidance.
* Oversee third-party vendors and ensure timely and quality delivery of services.
* Monitor project progress, manage risks/issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects within financial services environments.
* Strong understanding of systems architecture and operational processes.
* Hands-on experience with OpenShift (mandatory).
* Excellent project planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
* Prior experience working within large enterprise environments.
* Exposure to similar banking or regulated industry projects.
Qualifications
* Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
