Candidate Specification
We’re looking for curious, motivated graduates who want to make a real difference. To be eligible, you will have fewer than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expect to achieve one in a property-related discipline with a keen interest in facilities management. This opportunity requires eligibility to obtain security clearance. Security clearance is dictated by project needs and normally requires UK nationality or residence in the UK for five years or more.
You should demonstrate genuine interest in the opportunity and joining Mott MacDonald by highlighting relevant experience or interests—such as studied modules, prior work, or research about our company, values, and projects. We review every completed application form manually; we do not use AI tools at this stage and expect applicants to answer questions authentically. Joining us as a graduate is your opportunity to shape your own story.
Strengths We Look For
* Proactively takes initiative to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
* Communicates effectively and clearly with clients and colleagues.
* Delivers high-quality written work with strong attention to detail and clarity.
* Demonstrates a structured and analytical approach to problem solving.
We support flexible working. Please discuss any flexibility you may need at interview stage.
Note: Mott MacDonald Ltd. is not currently offering sponsorship to candidates under the Skilled Worker visa route in the UK. This decision reflects changes to the Skilled Worker route announced by the UK Government in April 2024. We seek a long-term relationship with our graduates and cannot accept applications from candidates who would require a Graduate visa or other time-limited visas due to sponsorship requirements in the future. We welcome applicants eligible for alternative immigration routes in the UK that do not require current or future Skilled Worker sponsorship.

A graduate position should be more than a job. From day one, you’ll receive training and a mentor to guide your professional development.
