We have a great opportunity for a Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team. This is a full time position being offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months maternity cover.

Salary: In addition to the salary there is a 4% retention payment after 1 years' service.
About you...
As a Social Worker in the Family Safeguarding Team you will be passionate about making a difference to children and families. With curiosity, empathy and determination you will build meaningful relationships, work collaboratively with partners, and help families find sustainable change.
You will bring your safeguarding skills and creativity to ensure every child is heard, valued, and protected.
You must have a current Social Work England registration and have successfully completed your ASYE.

Key responsibilities...
* Develop and deliver safeguarding plans that place children’s safety and wellbeing at the centre.
* Manage a varied caseload (CIN, CP, Care Proceedings, CLA) while maintaining accurate records in line with policy and GDPR.
* Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to service development and supporting colleagues.
* Participate in the team duty system, responding promptly to safeguarding concerns.
* Access to regular reflective supervision, training, and professional development opportunities to strengthen practice and achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
