The Role
This is a new role with potential for growth. Responsibilities include:
* Preparing and presenting monthly financial accounts.
* Managing intercompany and related party transactions per IAS 24.
* Preparing annual financial statements in accordance with FRS 101.
* Serving as the SPOC for Government Statistics with ONS.
* Reconciliation of management and financial accounts.
* Preparing risk controls for K-SOX compliance monthly, quarterly, and annually.
* Aligning IFRS standards with business practices.
* Managing balance sheet integrity.
* Measuring KPIs regularly.
* Staying updated on legislative and reporting standards and applying them.
About You
Candidates should ideally have:
* A business degree or equivalent.
* Professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
* Data analysis skills.
* Critical thinking and strong communication skills.
* Adaptability and proven collaboration with auditors and advisors.
* Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and regulations.
