Role Definition
Configuration, support, repair and monitoring of IT systems across all departments in a very fastpaced and demanding environment.
Responsible for support of the IT infrastructure and ensure that the site has in place a secure and resilient infrastructure.
Monitoring of Backup, Antivirus and Windows update systems.
Microsoft 365 administration and support.
Management of server room security and environmental.
Contribute to developing and testing disaster recovery plans in line with business policy.
Prioritise and follow up support calls within the manufacturing environment.
Communicate with all levels of the business both operational and managerial.
Maintain a list of issues and ensure that they are managed and cleared in a timely manner using our internal service desk for traceability.
Be the IT support contact for individuals reporting or highlighting issues with systems or equipment.
Support factory projects which involve IT
Commissioning of desktop and laptop hardware
Installing and testing operating systems and software applications
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems
Telephone and facetoface support.
Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures and industry legalisation.
Communicate With Group IT And Other Sites When Required.
There may be requirement to provide telephone cover during out of hours and weekends.
Generate/review/update documentation.
Perform personal administration.
Retail Label design across Production systems.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Governance Task completion.

Knowledge And Experience Required
Good knowledge of MS 365 Environment Office applications. Ability to perform troubleshooting and resolution of problems in a fast moving, high pressure working environment. Be 'hands on' in performing tasks and not afraid to get dirty in executing actions in supporting the site in production processes. Be able to carry out tasks independently using own initiative when on shift. Ability to integrate quickly into the existing IT Team and become a key component in providing service levels required by the business.
