This school is looking for a KS1 Teacher to start with them in September. The roles and responsibilities are:
* Deliver high-quality teaching across the KS1 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are engaged and making progress.
* Plan and prepare lessons that are creative, differentiated, and aligned with national standards.
* Teach phonics effectively using structured schemes such as Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds.
* Liaise closely with the Teaching Assistant to support individual and group learning needs.
* Conduct formative and summative assessments, track pupil progress, and use data to inform planning.
* Write detailed pupil reports and contribute to parents' evenings, offering clear insights into pupil development.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community and events.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
* Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
