PageGroup is delighted to support a highly established manufacturing organisation based in Redditch with the appointment of a Senior HR Advisor to join a busy HR function for circa 6 months, with possible scope for extension or permanence in the future. Due to the sector's nature, this role requires fully office-based working. Applicants seeking full-time or part-time hours can be considered.
Job Description
Working within a small HR team, the Senior HR Advisor will provide first-class HR advisory support to a wide range of stakeholders at this busy manufacturing site. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Taking full responsibility for a wide range of employee relations casework, providing timely and first-class HR advice.
2. Liaising with trade unions onsite.
3. Providing data analysis to management and leadership regarding employee relations casework, helping to identify trends.
4. Upskilling line managers to handle people matters effectively.
5. Supporting the development and implementation of new HR policies and procedures.
6. Assisting with other generalist HR matters as required.
7. Supporting the CPO with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
* Proven experience in an HR advisory role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
* Experience working within unionized environments.
* Competence in managing a wide range of employee relations casework.
* Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced, and changing environment.
