We work with a wide range of clients throughout Yorkshire and Humberside, providing reliable, compliant and cost-effective electrical solutions.Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are now looking to recruit qualified electricians to join our experienced and professional team. The business currently employs nine electricians, and we are looking to expand in order to meet increasing demand while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.Responsibilities This is a permanent, full-time position carrying out a mix of project, planned and reactive maintenance across commercial properties throughout Yorkshire and Humberside. Approximately 90% of our workload is in the commercial sector, and we are committed to delivering a consistently high standard of service that reflects our long-standing reputation in the industry.Your responsibilities as an Electrician will include but not limited to: Attending sites to undertake planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive call-outsDiagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently and in line with regulationsCarrying out testing, inspection and remedial works where requiredCommunicating clearly with clients and site contacts to ensure expectations are metKeeping detailed records of work completed and materials usedEnsuring all work complies with current electrical safety standards and best practices You will be required to travel to our Leeds 9 base each morning to collect your vehicle, tools and receive the days’ work schedule.The ideal candidate will have: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualificationECS Gold CardFull UK driving licenceGood fault-finding and diagnostic skillsComfortable working in a reactive maintenance environmentA tidy, organised and professional approach to work Desirable skills:- Asbestos AwarenessWorking at HeightManual Handling These are not essential and can be provided as part of your training package.This role may suit someone with experience who is looking to step away from the pressure of site work or high-volume contracting and instead join a business that values quality and long-term relationships.What you will receive: £35,000 per year plus overtime37.5 hour working weekCompany van and specialist tools providedPPE and training includedPrivate medical coverSupportive team and a stable, long-term opportunity Interested in this Electrician role?
