Site Supervisor – Lower Thames Crossing (Major Infrastructure Project)
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on the prestigious Lower Thames Crossing project. This is a key role on a major infrastructure scheme, and we are looking for someone with a strong background in bulk earthworks to lead and manage site operations safely and efficiently.
⚠️ Please note: Bulk earthworks experience is essential. Applications without this will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily site operations with a focus on bulk earthworks activities
* Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, and plant operations
* Conduct site briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks
* Monitor health & safety compliance and enforce site standards
* Coordinate with engineers and project management teams
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on bulk earthworks projects (essential)
* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – required
* CSCS Gold Card – required
* EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) – required
* Plant tickets (e.g. excavator, dozer, dump truck) – highly desirable
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
