Working Site Foreman (x2 Positions)
Location: Within 30 minutes of Leeds
Employment Type: Full‑Time

The Role
As a Working Foreman, you will act as the senior day‑to‑day representative of Lodestone Projects on site, combining hands‑on trade work with the coordination of labour, subcontractors, and site activities. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, with support from the Project Manager. The role includes regular working away, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* 1. Health, Safety & Compliance
o Take full responsibility for day‑to‑day site health and safety management.
o Maintain safe working practices including segregation, access control, dust/noise management, and protection of occupied areas.
o Ensure full compliance with PPE standards and approved RAMS.
o Identify, report, and assist in resolving any H&S issues promptly.
o Maintain a safe environment for all operatives and visitors.
* 2. Programme & Site Management
o Manage and control the daily running of the site.
o Supervise and work alongside operatives and subcontractors.
o Coordinate daily tasks to meet programme requirements while minimising disruption to occupants.
o Communicate progress and site activities to the Project Manager.
o Assist with setting out, sequencing works, and resolving on‑site challenges.
* 3. Labour, Materials & Housekeeping
o Deliver and monitor high‑quality workmanship in line with drawings and specifications.
o Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site labour.
o Monitor workmanship to ensure it meets Lodestone Projects' standards.
o Receive and manage materials, waste, and plant deliveries/collections.
o Maintain excellent housekeeping, waste management, and site organisation.
* 4. Client & Stakeholder Liaison
o Act as the key on‑site contact for clients, building management, and other trades.
o Represent Lodestone Projects professionally at all times.
o Maintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
o Ensure site presentation and conduct reflect company standards.
o Work respectfully within occupied/live environments and comply with any restrictions.
* 5. Communication & Reporting
o Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Project Manager.
o Produce and issue Weekly Site Checklists.
* 6. Personal & Professional Standards
o Demonstrate a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
o Be adaptable and able to think on your feet.
o Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
o Uphold the reputation and values of Lodestone Projects.
About You
* Come from a joinery background.
* Live within 30 minutes of Leeds.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Have experience leading teams on shopfitting or interior fit‑out projects.
* Be confident coordinating subcontractors and labour.
* Be willing and able to work away when required.
* Take pride in delivering high‑quality work and maintaining a safe site.
* Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
