The main purpose of this role is to provide support for the ongoing development, maintenance and operation of the Student Information System (Tribal: SITS). The SITS Analyst Developer will work in partnership with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions, ensuring the system meets the needs of our users and supports our strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will have a track record of experience in successful Tribal SITS implementation and knowledge of SITS/e:Vision development. The role holder should also have experience of supporting system users of a major corporate database, alongside a commitment to the provision of excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will hold a degree or recognised IT/information qualification and/or have the ability to demonstrate extensive relevant experience. Furthermore, they should also understand the operational requirements and challenges of supporting high availability IT systems within a complex organisation and have the ability to communicate effectively to audiences of technical and non-technical colleagues, both internally and externally.
