Graphic Designer (Temporary Maternity Cover)
Location: Huddersfield Waterfront
Salary: £26,852 per annum
Hours and weeks per year: 37 hrs / 52 weeks
Contract: Temporary maternity cover until February 27
Overview
At Kirklees College we are looking for a graphic designer to work alongside two other designers in the marketing and communications team. The role will be based at Huddersfield Waterfront and involves providing a high‑quality graphic service, producing external campaigns and supporting different teams across the college.
Key responsibilities
* Produce artwork for key recruitment campaigns in all formats including OOH advertising, prospectuses, and bespoke promotional materials/documents and marketing assets.
* Protect the college brand and manage internal posters, corporate documents and signage across the college.
* Work closely with college teams on briefs, maintaining creative flair and eye for detail.
Qualifications and experience
* Appropriate degree and experience using a range of design software.
* Demonstrated experience in a graphics role.
* Good communication skills and ability to work from briefs.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
