Responsibilities Your day‑to‑day work will include a mix of face‑to‑face consultations, telephone clinics, and eConsult sessions. You will be supported by nine experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners who handle most same‑day appointments, and a dedicated home‑visiting service ensures minimal home visits.
You will also participate in duty doctor sessions on rotation, always supported by an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
There are multiple opportunities for teaching and training: GP registrars, FY2 doctors, and medical students in 2nd, 3rd, and final year placements.
Your administrative workload will be streamlined with support from a dedicated QOF/Admin team and a Prescribing Team. The local Primary Care Network offers clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social prescribers, health & wellbeing coaches, MSK FCPs, mental health facilitators, cancer care coordinators, and home‑visiting care coordinators.
Qualifications
Fully qualified General Practitioner
GMC registration
Knowledge of TPP SystmOne
