At GBM Mechanical & Electrical, we are a trusted M&E contractor delivering high-quality HVAC and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects within central London. With a strong pipeline of work and an excellent reputation, were looking to bring on board an experienced Senior HVAC Project Manager to lead mechanical packages on key contracts.
The Role As a Senior HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle from pre-construction planning and procurement through to delivery, commissioning, and handover. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities Oversee delivery of HVAC projects (ventilation, heating, air conditioning, etc.)
Manage project teams, subcontractors, and site operations
Monitor programme milestones and ensure delivery to agreed timelines
Take ownership of financials forecasting, cost tracking, and variations
Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, health & safety (CDM), and industry standards
Attend client meetings, progress reviews, and site inspections
Manage project documentation including RAMS, O&M manuals, and handover packs
Liaise closely with consultants, suppliers, and in-house teams to drive quality and efficiency
About You 8+ years experience in HVAC project management (commercial/industrial)
Proven ability to deliver M&E packages from inception to completion
Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, pipework, BMS integration, etc.
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Excel, etc.)
SMSTS or SSSTS (required)
CSCS Black or Gold Card
HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
