The role
We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to support the full life cycle of advanced mechanical testing equipment. You'll install, calibrate, maintain, and repair systems on-site while also training end users and identifying service opportunities. This is a field-based role covering the UK however they do try and keep the work as local as possible. Expectations are approximately 2 days a week staying away.

Requirements:
* Recognised engineering qualification
* Strong mechanical and/or electronic diagnostic/fault-finding skills
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Comfortable working independently in the field
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Willingness to travel frequently, including training in the UK and Germany
* Full UK Driving License
* Right to work without the need for sponsorship
Desirable:
* HNC/Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or similar
* Knowledge of materials testing, PLCs, hydraulics or closed-loop control
* Calibration and workshop/fitting experience
Package:
* £35,000 - £40,000 salary depending on experience
