Hours for this position are Sunday through Thursday 10pm to 6am.Job DescriptionEssential Duties:* Sweep and mop rooms and hallways; dust and performs general cleaning of rooms; clean windows* Vacuum and shampoo carpets; may strip and wax floors; clean and sanitize restrooms* Pick up trash, debris and/or litter from university buildings and grounds; empties trash receptacles* Assist with maintaining safe indoor/outdoor surfaces, including during inclement weather* May assist with events* May pick up and/or deliver equipment and supplies* May perform cleaning/washing duties in dining areas* May assist with other related campus needs as assignedMinimum Qualifications:* Requires a high school diploma or GED* No experience required* May require driver’s license* This position requires the ability to successfully pass a Post-Offer Pre-Employment (POPES) physicalRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Knowledge of the use of cleaning equipment/materials* Ability to understand and follow directionsAdditional Position Information (if applicable)Special Instructions (if applicable)NoneAdditional InformationA criminal background check is required.
