Buying Assistant ( Horticulture )
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 32 hours per week (flexibility can be discussed)

Key duties
You'll be assisting our plant and garden sundries buyers with a variety of tasks:
* Uploading Purchase Orders to our stock management system, WinRetail system
* Manage the data within WinRetail
* Under the direction of the Buyers some re-ordering of stock
* Inputting data
* Taking notes at meetings
* Provide support for our garden sundries and plant area departments including liaising with suppliers and dealing with any issues promptly
* Assist buying team with other admin tasks, as required
Your Capabilities
* A proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel at intermediate level (E)
* Must have experience and knowledge of database systems (E)
* Be comfortable with taking data from many sources, manipulating the data and moving it into other databases(E)
* Excellent communication skills (E)
* Knowledge of plants – indoor & outdoor (D)
* Knowledge of gardening products (D)
* Willingness to learn and develop (D)
