Role: Facilities Officer
Location: Swansea with regular travel between sites across Southwest Wales (Pool Car Provided)
Pay: £15.04p/h
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
The Role:
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Facilities Officer on behalf of our client on a temporary contact until 31st March 2026 to undertake active monitoring of designated sites to ensure safety.
You will liaise with site users and support the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance, ensuring procedures are adhered to.
Duties will include:
* Ensuring the Facilities team is supported in its role of delivering key facilities management services.
* Provide excellent customer service and foster a culture of continuous improvement in delivering frontline facilities management services for customers.
* Provide administrative and organisational support to the facilities team
* Undertake health and safety duties appropriate to the post.
* Assist in the management of contractors on site ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are always adhered to
Requirements:
* Previous experience in facilities management
* Good knowledge of health and safety legislation relating to the Health and Safety at Work Act.
* Experience of delivering a service in a facilities management environment, performing process and procedure tasks.
* Good understanding of ICT systems
* Good written, verbal and organisational skills and the ability to communicate confidently with excellent customer service skills.
* Full clean driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel to various sites.
