Role: Level 2 Teaching Assistant Contract Type : Permanent Hours : 32.5 per week, Term time only Salary : Grade 2 £24,796 – £26,824 pro rata (£19,304 – £20,883 actual) and SEN allowance £1,722 pro rata Start Date : As soon as possible Closing date : 10th February 2026 EIAT is a thriving Multi Academy Trust in North Birmingham incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Mayfield School, Queensbury School, The Hive College, Lime Tree Nursery and Blue Sky Nursery. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 282 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and dynamic team at Wilson Stuart School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students. Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will help deliver tailored learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of our pupils. Key responsibilities include: Providing classroom support to enhance learning Offering mentoring and pastoral care Assisting with the physical care of pupils, including moving and handling Supporting students with personal care needs when required Due to the complex physical needs of our students, experience or willingness to assist with moving, handling, and personal care is essential.
