The role
Search are supporting the recruitment of a Bookkeeper to join an established business in Stirling on a part-time, permanent basis. This role offers flexibility around hours, ideal for someone looking for a stable position with ownership of their own client portfolio.
Working within a close knit and supportive team, you'll take responsibility for day to day bookkeeping while building strong relationships with clients and contributing to the smooth running of the office.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing all aspects of bookkeeping for your own portfolio of clients
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time
* Maintaining financial records and processing transactions
* Supporting with utility contract management on behalf of clients
* Carrying out basic Excel and spreadsheet work
* Assisting with general office administration where required
Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* AAT or equivalent Bookkeeping qualification desirable
* Good communication skills with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
* Demonstrable experience in similar role
* Experience managing multiple sets of accounts or client portfolios
* Attention to detail and organisational skills
* Working knowledge of accounting systems (training can be provided)
