An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Perioperative Medicine Collaborative for an enthusiastic and innovative practitioner to provide dynamic support as a unit sister working in SAU.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will adopt a visible and accessible approach for patients, relatives, carers, and staff, coordinating teams to improve performance at all levels. Applicants should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, leadership qualities, and organizational skills. The role is key in addressing bed pressures, promoting increased day surgery, and maintaining patient safety and experience.

Qualifications
* Up-to-date ILS and mandatory training
* Degree or Diploma in Nursing with specialist experience/training
* Current NMC Registration
Knowledge
* Ability to work within the NMC code of conduct
* Commitment to evidence-based practice
* Ability to make decisions using initiative within your scope of work
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
All new employees requiring DBS clearance will pay the cost via salary deduction from their first month's pay.
